This season is about daring new designs, affordable new looks, and whimsical color combinations. It is such fun to make new earrings that look so in style and yet so original. To know that someone will be wearing these earrings in their lives wherever they are and what ever they do, and their day will be brighter because of lisadora earrings, this brings us great pleasure!

This picture shows our Thrifty Sis Polka Dot earrings on our non-pierced hoops. (They can also be worn on any pierced hoops.)

We have invented these non-pierced hoops because many of us think we cannot wear earrings anymore. We do not have pierced ears and clip on earring are too painful, or they fall off and are lost in a flash. Some of us had our ears pierced years ago, but the holes have gotten longer and longer due to the heavy earrings we like, or because of the babies who pulled on them until they looked like slits.

We all want to wear gorgeous earrings that are comfortable and secure. We have made a collection of hoops that fit comfortably on the indent of our ears. Purples and yellows and whites of the first signs that we have made it to the warm season once again! And look around at the bold colors women and men are putting together on themselves! Deep plums and rich yellows, bright turquoise and saturated orange these are the luscious pallet of 2010. What a treat!

As long as men and women could, they have been amusing themselves my making pretty things to decorate themselves with, such as making glass out of sand and putting beads in beautiful combinations, or melting the metals out of rocks and pounding or pouring it into appealing shapes and meaningful symbols. It is amazing to reflect on the great lengths we have always gone to, to adorn ourselves. Nowadays we simply find pieces we “can’t live without”, plunk down some of our money, and enjoy how great we look!

It is hand forged by well-known metal artist, Nicole Hansen. They texture makes it sparkle. You can slip the long drop or square mobile on or off the hoop, thus giving you the option of 4 earrings in one….great for traveling! She has made five different mobile for our collection.

Spring will soon be upon us! The light is changing the birds are becoming noisy. It’s all beginning to feel like we will make it out of winter once again.

Our thoughts turn to warmth, and sun, and color. And boy! Do the fashion experts have a collection and style for us this year. They are talking about combining bold rich colors together. Plum dresses and yellow handbags! Deep, yellow slacks, and a frilly, coral blouse. It is time to get the colors out and make outrageously beautiful combinations of your own.

Great to be bold with your earrings too! Combine colorful mobiles on silver hoops. What a great idea! We have been putting beautiful glass and silver mobiles together in collections to create one-of-a- kind bundles for about 7 years now! Wow, time flies when your having fun! Oh yeah, and we do it in 18k gold and white and yellow brass too. What a blast!
